For all the same reasons why some should not be parents. :bash:

You need a license to operate a motor vehicle or own a gun, why not in being a parent or voting? Someone decided a local measure on the ballot to rename a sewage treatment plant after W? WHY?!?! And why is the Governator still in office for CA? He makes Davis' performance look good.

Well, just take SonRunner or RonM for examples...they had no clue on the healthcare system, yet talked a lot about it with incorrect facts. Or take SonRunner's position on gun ownership...he apparently favors that relatively unknown Constitutional Amendment (sarcasm), yet did not know that Obama heavily opposes concealed handgun license by law-abiding citizens.

Oh well...hopefully, Obama will prove to be a wise President, given that he has plenty of advisors by his side. A room full of smart people may end up in chaos, but hopefully, Obama can read every suggestion "line by line" and come up with world peace and a cure for world hunger.

I am starting to really like Texas and it's gun laws....

HAHA you can't get any worse than Davis, he's the reason why CA went from a large surplus budget to SERIOUS deficits. The Governator is cutting back wherever he can to make up for it. Don't blame the guy for trying to fix a HUGE mess, probably the biggest CA has EVER faced. The budget problem in CA wont get fixed right away either, its going to take a LOOONG time to fix.

Davis got hosed cause he was left with a deregulated energy market by yours trully, Pete Wilson. The Governator been in office for nearly two terms, so he's had plenty of time to work on "fixing" it. He hasn't done a damn thing for CA as far as I'm concerned. Davis was ousted for tripling the car tax and delayed budgets. Arnold isn't doing any better, if anything it's another repeat piss poor performance in Sacramento with record delays on a passed budget. There should be another recall, the US of A is all about fairness afterall right?
