Spoiler Paint Color

Gentlemen,

Sorry for the double post. Had to re-post to turn it into a poll. Thanks for the guidance.

I would like a paint opinion. This weekend I am going to paint my rear spoiler. The factory finish is faded, chipped, and oxidized. I would like to know what color everyone thinks I should paint it.

Here are the options:
1. Black like it was originally
2. Metallic Gray, The same color I repainted the badges
3. Body Color, I've got some desert dune left over from the license plate surround project

So let me know what you guys think.

I painted mine the same color as my cladding ( silver metallic ) and I think it looks good. Better than black. But, I'm hoping for a new jaos spoiler anyway.

I like that idea but I don't have any of that color paint. So I'm gonna stick with what I have in the garage.

It didn't match perfectly but I got the rattle can version. For what I was doing with it, I was happy with the results. Someone on the forum told me the that pearl colors are very difficult to match anyway. Shipping was quick and I thought the price was reasonable.

I painted mine grey (same color as wheels), and after a month I hated it. I'm currently painting it black.

This way the O.P can see what it looks like??? I'd post one....but don't have one yet! Bought one from a fellow forum member though...so can't wait to get it here and try something different myself!

For anyone interested, I went against the general consensus and painted the rear spoiler the body color. I think it looks good.

Looks good Qyota. I ended up painting my bolt heads also, I think it looks cleaner with them painted.

Definetly match the screwheads to match the spoiler for a clean finished look;I resprayed my tired and scuffed black for a few new coats and did the screws too.
