Stanton. If I weren't on a business trip tomorrow, I'd be there 1/2 hour before opening, tools in hand. The hood is a goner, but there appear to be tons of other goodies ripe for the taking.

Look up the part number on Camelback website, and usually lists what all is included if it's an assembly

HIGHLY doubt it. If they were going to included the insert and associated pieces and hardware. they would probably include the insulation, spray nozzles, etc.

Well, when I first saw this post last week and someone posted the Hollander.com link I got a wild hair up my ass (ewwwwwhhhh) and did a quick search. Found this one:

A little over an hour north. Called the guy and said it was in very good condition and he wanted $175. I was like Ooookkkaayyy, sounds good can you hold it if I pay for it and he said "I'll just write the invoice and call it sold and if you don't show up in a week or so, I'll put it back up for sale. Again I was like Oooookayyyy. Picked it up yesterday. As you can tell from the ad, it's been available since December.
I said to the guy "I'm surprised this didn't sell quicker" and he said "so am I, some guy named Emille usually comes in and buys all my 4runner parts" There was even a perfectly good complete tailgate waiting for Emille to pick up. I was tempted on that too because I have a small dent in mine but the body work and paint would probably be a little cheaper. It it were white I would have bought it.
Boy am I a happy camper. Just have to get it painted. Keep looking guys, they are out there.

Yeah it looks like it's just the hood. That price is just crazy.

I have a Sport hood in Maine... it's on my daily driver. I'll sell it for the right price. I'd want your hood as part of the deal.

I have one that the previous owner put on, oem hood
there was a hailstorm that damaged the original hood and the PO got the insurance company to pay for a sport hood
which I am now the thankful beneficiary of!

Hard to tell from that picture, but what are those things that look like horns at the end of the hood on the right side of the pic?
Can someone tell if this hood is OEM? Not sure what those things on the front of it are. Guy is asking $500 for it. Kind of steep considering I need a black one.

Thanks for the reply. Are those normally drilled? Or stuck on with an adhesive? I’m tempted to pick this thing up. Maybe I can talk him down.

I have a brand new 2018 standard hood and would like a sport hood. I still have the paint protection film on mine. Magnetic grey metallic is what I'm looking for.

Mine's a 2002. When I google color options for 2002 4Runner I get the following:
202 Black
3K4 Sunfire Red Pearl
587 Dorado Gold Pearl
6Q7 Imperial Jade Mica
Mine's not black, red, or green... so I guess it's Dorado Gold Pearl.
Looks to be the same color as the one in the pic [MENTION=217229]Jason7191[/MENTION] posted further up this thread.
No rust anywhere.

If it's a factory 2002 hood, it's probably Thundercloud Grey. I think the 2002 Sport Editions only came in Mica, Black, Blue, Red and Thundercloud.
