Spot/driving beam led in the ditch light location?

I scored a deal on a set of Rigid D series lights. I can’t remember if they are spot or driving.

Anyhow how well would they perform on ditch light brackets and aimed forward?

That depends on how much hood glare you can stand while driving.
Personally I wouldn't mount forward facing lights that far back. You'd be better to mount them behind the grill on the center bumper crossbeam, where the BD S8 kits go.

I would recommend aiming them out if you mount as ditch lights. Get a larger spread of light. I personally like seeing the sides of the trail more.

My vote is to put them on ditch light brackets. I would set mine by parking in the middle of a back road with woods on both sides and cutting your factory lights on whatever setting you like to drive with in the pitch black (probably high beams) along with any other led bars etc. I then cut on the ditch lights and align their beam right along the side of where the other lights begin to "cutoff", which is essentially continuing your usable light out further right and further left. I am sure either spot or driving will be good if you got a nice deal, but if they are driving you will definitely be super pleased. I personally have the flood and love them, but the driving lights can basically reach out like your low beams (probably slightly further) with a much larger pattern left to right. You will definitely be lighting up quite a bit of area with them. Anyway, good luck! You will love em!
