Not sure how much the phone camera and poor choice of angles is playing into the distorted looking dimensions.
I'm getting weird vibes from it though, that's true. And for that price, I'll pass. These dealers are thinking they're going to relive the glory days of Covid :rofl:
A week ago, my dealer actually had one on the showroom floor that I got to look over. I was mostly interested in the engine compartment; lots of large diameter tubing for the air to/from the turbo and intercooler.
What struck me the most was the size of the engine: at least as big as the V6. Even the width was equal to the V6 with the turbo hanging off the right side and the intake on the left.
In the USA, the 6th generation 4Runner is available with only two power trains: conventional turbo 4 cylinder with 8 speed automatic, and a "mild" hybrid with same engine and transmission.
In other areas of the world, the 4Runner is available with a diesel engine, and I believe, a manual transmission.
