SR5 Fender Flare, Mud Flap Options??

Hey guys,

97 SR5 with the mid sized flares (not chrome, not limited). I plan on taking off my side steps, but will need something to clean up the flare area behind the front wheel. I have searched and found that the stock flaps for this are discontinued and the guy that was 3D printing them for the longest time, appears to no longer be doing so.

What options do I have here? Does any company make something to fill this small void left when taking off the running boards??

It's slightly odd that you can't get the factory no-runningboard mudflaps any more:

Apparently, they're hen's teeth.

Thats a different fender flare then what we are talking about. Those look good with that flare, but w the sr5 mid sized flare, it will just stop, a few inches above the rocker once you remove the side steps

Be careful there are some SR5 ones that look right but not wide enough to fit the "sport" flares. I almost ordered some.

The one you need is PT41335966DF, you can buy the passenger side (PT41335966PF) but the driver side is discontinued. I've spent hours searching but you cant get it anywhere. There are some russian and ukrainian sites that claim to have them but I doubt it's accurate. I think that part was for America only. Maybe there is a forgotten crate of them in some South American warehouse.

Hey John! Where did you get the front mudflaps that connect to your factory flares? I've looked all over online and there some that look like it may fit, but not sure if I wanna purchase something and not guaranteed to fit the flares I have. I need the exact ones you have. I need those

They were original equipment on the car. Mine was, as delivered, a no-running board/e-locker/manual trans/Highlander Edition 4Runner. So it had those flaps on it.

There's been a ton of interest for [MENTION=146407]Plastics guy[/MENTION] to make some, but I'm sure he's a busy guy running a business and all. Would love to see him come up with some of these as he'd probably sell out quickly around here.
