I mentioned this in another thread. I see 4Runners everywhere now that I've bought one and I'm just curious how many members on here are from the St. Louis metro or surrounding MO area.
Funny story, the other day, I was driving down 270 admiring the 4Runner in front of me, and when he got off at Olive I pulled up next to him to ask about his 4Runner/lift. As it turns out we went to high school together (small world). We only talked for a minute during the red light, but I also wanted to see if he was on here.
Post up if you're from St. Louis, MO, IL or surrounding areas.

May as well post a pic of your rig so we can keep an eye out for each other too!

Hey! I was thinkn the same thing. I see a bunch of nice 4runners around Stl but haven't seen many on here. Actually, since we are pretty much neighbors....I saw a very nice lifted 4th gen at the stoplight at Dorsett and McKelvey yesterday, It had at least a 3 or 4 inch lift, possibly grey or blue, ARB front bumper, roof rack with tire mount. Never seen it before around our area. Keep an eye out for it!

I've handed out a couple mo4wd business cards to some clean runners around stl the past few weeks. I always see the black lifted 4th gen driven by a blonde girl around mcausland. Saw a white lifted 4th gen sport the other day on manchester. Where are all the 5ths at!!! lol.

I haven't seen that one before, but, there is another lifted silver one that works in the office park down Dorsett next to the Phillips 66 & Hardee's across from the MH police station. I thought it could have been you, but I'm not sure :shrug:
 
I was actually a few car lengths back and thought, "that is a pretty sweet 4Runner" so I tried to speed up and get along side you, but I never really got even with you. I was able to snap a couple shots with my phone (at a stop light) for my "Cool 4Runner" folder though!
I was not in my 4Runner, I was in my work truck so if you had seen me it probably would have been kinds of strange, a guy in an F150 taking random pics of a 4Runner...
 
Thanks! Surprised you couldn't catch, must've been traffic. I try to do the speed limit according to the speedometer to make up for the tires. Saw a guy in an F-series taking a gander but he was going opposite ways and we were at opposite lights to get onto 141...at Highlands. Most times people see a middle-aged chick and think I'm driving my hubby's truck or something. You're on mo4wd, maybe we'll hit the same meet sometime. :)

I saw a chick in a lifted red taco going south on 141 today and a grey 2nd gen with purple flames on the tailgate a couple of months ago, also 141. Saw a tan taco with front and rear aftermarket bumpers on Clayton last month and there's also a very clean looking stock white 2nd gen with blue stripes and plates that say 92 something or other in the same area.
Lots of 4th gens these days but I don't think with black center caps so I'll know to look out for you.
 
Well, I should probably post an updated picture. I just removed the plasti-dip from my wheels last weekend. But, there aren't a lot of tan 4Runners, at least I haven't seen many, so if you see one and the guy waves, then it is probably me! :hello:
