Stance Difference

So in my recent endeavors of a long travel suspension the UCA and LCA pushes the stance out 3.5", regardless if I go with Total Chaos or Camburg, however I'm curious to know what people do with the rear stance?

I'm wanting to have it as close to the same stance in the front as possible. Now how do I do this?

Also want to know what others do with thier rear stance in L/T.

I have no experience with a long travel setup on a 4runner, on anything for that matter, but I'm guessing there are only a few option available. I personally haven't seen too many people actually go with a full long travel build on a 4runner mainly due to it not being an optimum base to start from.

1. Wheel spacers, which might not be the best idea since the common concensus is, they put extra stress on the wheel studs and if you are actually using a long travel suspension for what its designed for, high-speed rough terrain, weaking an important part of your vehicle might not be a good idea.

2. Off-set rims. This seems to be the most logical answer since and seems to be the preference over wheel spacers for above mentioned reasons.

3. Diff-swap. Wider rear diff to make up the track difference between the front and rear.

Lets see some pics or a build thread for this project. I imagine it would quite interesting to see the process of it being built. Very rare indeed.

Check out troyboy's build on UltimateYota. He pulled it off but it was full custom front and rear. It looks and drives great though!

Well as far as rims go I'm gonna be using the 16" TRD FJ rims in black so I think off-seting won't be an option

He might have a long list of options and suggestions for JOB.
Some things to do, and certainly, some things not to do.

A great read nonetheless.
