Steering wheel help for 1997 Limited...

I recently purchased a steering wheel from a 2000 4runner since mine was in pretty bad shape. Took mine off today and saw that airbag connectors aren’t the same (haven’t really checked the cruise control yet) so I’m wondering is this a possible swap, do I need extra parts to make it happen or is it a no go. Any advice is appreciated, stuck at work all day and wanted to squeeze this in. Thanks

I’m wondering if these connectors come out and/or if I can just cut and splice it?

You should be able to re-pin the new wires into your old connector.

Two wires, you should be able to cut and splice in the correct plug. You did disconnect the battery, right?

Member who sold me the wheel is sending the clockspring as well so I'll probably swap the clocksprings or just solder the new connector onto my current clockspring.

Does anyone know if the connector/wiring for the cruise control is the same for 97 and 2000? The connectors seem to fit fine, but wiring is different colors.
