I just bought my first T4R. its a beatiful silver 2006 Limited V8 4X4. I bought this particular truck because it was a one owner that accourding to the carfax report had never missed a scheduled maintenance! It was taken care of like I could only dream of being able to do so. After getting it home I started researching some of its bells and whistles. It has the XREAS and RAS. Both of these systems seem to be working fine. But I have wanted a 4runner for years and there is no way I am going to accept that once I finally get one I cant tinker with it! So for now I am reasearching the best way to lift this thing while not compromising the xreas and ras systems.

So far what I have come up with is this,
For the front,
I can use spacers. Spacers and maybe fj or after market coils? As for the spacers there seems to be top spacers and preload spacers. Not clear if I can use both or why I would only use one or the other. Also I am still not clear on the coils and whether I can upgrade them or not. Input on any coil options I have would be greatly appreciated.

For the rear,
I can reset the ras so its current High position becomes its Normal position.

With both of these done I am thinking I would get about 2" of lift in the front and about 1 1/2" in the rear. I would be happy with this. This would give me a little extra ground clearance and I could get a little bigger tire than my 265/60 R18's.

And thank you T4R.org and toyota120.com members for all the great post. It probaly would of taken me years to figure this stuff out without all the great threads I have read on these two forums.
