Stock Dunlops AT20

Thanks bro, just wait though soon I will have a new and way way improved setup :D :bigok:

As for spidertrax, I highly recommend them. They increase your track and I think they helped my stability some, but that just might be my mind playing tricks on me. Mainly, they make the truck look WAY more aggressive. I took mine off the other day and hated how it looked without them, i mean HATED it, everytime I looked at my truck it was all I thought about. The disadvantages are you might have to adjust your inner fender some and it might kick a little more junk on the side of your car than you would experience otherwise.

Yes...please work out all the kinks for me so when its time to do my big lift....you already have the road map to sucess =)

Spidertraxx installation is as simple as taking your tire off and mountinig the spacer on your exisitng lug nuts, then put tire back on???? Is that it??? Im still worried about the inner fender rub.

Yeah that is it, its really easy and only takes a few minutes per wheel. Just take off the tires, put the spacers on the hubs, tighten the spacers down (you also add loctite, which is included) put the wheel back on and tighten it down. Thats it.

As for rubbing, you will probably experience some (which probably will be so minimal it wont bother you). There are two solutions, take a pair of sheers and cut away whatever plastic shows marks from rubbing or do what i did, which is unbolt the bottom of the inner fender, slide it forward, drill new holes and either rebolt it or zip-tie it in place. Doesn't take much time at all.

I sold mine to a guy I know when they had about 20,000 miles on them. They were in good shape with about half the tread remaining. I sold them because they were pretty lame in the NY snow during the winter and I wanted a more aggressive tire for those conditions.

Other than snow performance, I had zero issues with the Dunlops. They're a decent street tire, IMO, despite the bad rap they get on this forum.

To me, the Dunlops suck and look hideous. There is a reason they went with that tire, its cheap.

I simply cannot believe some of you got 50-60,000 miles out of these tires.

I have 13,000 on mine and rotate evey 5,000 miles and its tough for me to believe one can stretch these out to 50-thousand.

If we were all smart and rich enough, we would have took these tires off the day we drove our babies off the lot and sold them to put forward to some nicer ones. Unfortunately, all of us are usually cost conscious after purchasing the vehicle that its the last thing on our mind and tought to justify spending another $900, am I right?

Based upon mileage & treadwear, my Dunlops would have lasted about 40,000 miles, nowhere near 60,000 miles. But I'm probably harder on tires than the average driver.

Honestly, if I lived in an area that doesn't get a lot of snow, I would have kept the Dunlops until they wore out. IMO, they are a good street tire and they work well on dry pavement and even in the rain they are decent. Their snow traction leaves a lot to be desired and I didn't want to go through another NY winter with them, especially since half the tread depth was gone!

I'm in no rush to unload mine now that Winter's gone. Computer says 22.5 MPGs,I know it'll always read high but 20-21 is fine with me and the tires I'll buy next time won't get me that mileage. Haven't been in any snow to speak of but the Dunflops are doing good enough otherwise.I've been undecided between Revos,Wrangler ATS, in LT-265-70-17.I sure like the deep tread of the Wranglers, in C rated they're at 16-17 32nds of depth.Gotta go with E rated in most everything else to get that deep a tread....if it even matters, seems to me the more you start out with, the better.....just ask our Wives or girlfriends!:D

Recently I have been taking my altima to get serviced at Firestone. They have Revos and Destination A/T on display. I must say those Revo's dont look so bad. I know a lot of peeps like the Revo's on here. Personally, they were still a little "normal" to me....I wanted a little more aggression out of my tires. But Revos look pretty good. I had the Wrangler ATS's on my Bronco (35") they looked good and road good. I did get stuck in the sand but if I aired down more I think I would have been ok. Ill let you know how my MTZ's turn out.

Hayn4r, My Wife had Revos on her Pilot for better than 40-45000 miles.Untill they got 35000 miles or so they were pretty quiet, after that, they really started "hollerin". I bought a set for my 06 Tundra in C range, didn't have it long enough to judge though.Like you say ,keep us posted on your MTs.I'm watchin' the ATS Wranglers, reading all I can find about 'em.How well did your Wranglers wear on your Bronco?

Just replaced my stock Dunlops with a set of Michelin Cross Terrains. I really thought the Dunlops were ok. They still had some life left on them at 40k, but I had a couple extra bucks so I figured I'd get some new while I had the chance. I was surprised at the difference. The Michelins are quieter, much smoother, and during a week-long nor'easter here in Florida, their performance on wet roads was noticibly better.

When we replaced the Revos on Wife's Pilot, we put on Michelin LTX-AT2s. They have better than 36000 miles on them and they'll go another 15-20,000 by their looks. If I didn't have to step all the way up to load range E to get the same tread depth,I'd get Revos instead of Wranglers for my 4R. So far though, the Wrangler ATS is looking the best for my use, they're load range C-LT-265-70-17.

Funny story about that. I only had my Bronco for a few months. I bought it from this guy who purchased brand new 35" Wrangler ATS and right after the purchase the Bronco sat for a substantial amount of time....maybe a year or two.

By the time I entered the picture, his wife wanted him to sell it. I bought the Bronco for $200 bucks. one of those tires is what.....at least $250. There was LOTS of work to be done on the Bronco though. This guy lived right across from the beach so it was a rust bucket among many other mechanical faults. I thought I could turn it into a "project".

Basically, for the amount of $$$ I would have had to invest, I might as well have bought a new car. So I had the Bronco for about two months when my back brake line burst and I ran over a frozen produce van. It was a real hairy accident. Im just glad no one got hurt.

So back to your original question, for the two months I had it.....they seemed capable. No problems. Maybe someone with more extensive experience with the tire might chime in. Between Revos and ATS....for the 4R....I think I would go Revo's. Plus Firestone always has buy 3 get 1 free specials. Goodyear not too much specials.

Sorry for the long story....thats what we call "shooting the sh*t" =)

Thanks for getting back to me,as for being a long story, I've read posts that said half as much that were twice as long:p

I have got 40,000 on my stock dunflops. No complaints pretty good tire just doesnt look good anymore with my 3/2 lift and spidertrax on. If I wanted I probably could get another 10,000 out of these they still are in good shape.
