Stock Radio/Cd Player Skips A Lot

I had a navigation system on my 4 runner instead of the original radio. Then somebody broke into my 4 runner and took all my system. anyways I put back the original Radio and now when I play the cd skips a lot. I noticed mostly on bumps. Thank you. For your time.

This is usually due to the laser sled sticking because the lube (very light white grease) gets dried out and contaminated with dust. The fix is to clean out the old grease and re grease. This stuff is usually lighter than Lubriplate and is more like "cold cream". If the unit had been unused for awhile it may fix itself by using it which works the grease back and forth.
