Hellooooo Everybody!!!! I'm psyched to finally have my first 4Runner!-- Took it home yesterday! I'm not new to the forum, but I'm new as a member.
I've done lots of research on here to figure this out but can't seem to get it resolved. The back lighting for the stock stereo flickers and it's so annoying! From what I've read, it sounds like you can't access the bulbs that illuminate it, because it's a sealed unit perhaps? My girlfriend used to have an 01 Camry with the same problem and it eventually it just died.
My real question is has anyone found a way to fix the stock stereo? or is everyone just putting in aftermarket head units?
