Yeah, I know - Toyota 4Runner. But there are some kickers...
I am coming up on the point at which my work truck is to be replaced, and I have to make a choice based on the following parameters.
1) A stock pickup or SUV from among US-made vehicles, only,
2) Half-ton is the largest I can go due to expense,
3) It doesn't need to be a rock crawler, but it needs to be able to get into some remote, muddy spots (and get back out).
4) It has to be able to tow a small boat, ATV or snowmobile.
5) It should be reasonable on gas mileage. When I say "reasonable," I fully understand that a vehicle this size isn't going to burn some gas. Typical full-size SUV/truck mileage is acceptable, but Chevy Suburban-type MPG's are not going to cut it.
6) Cost is also a factor, so no F150 Raptor, etc.
Leaning towards a Ram 1500 or Durango, but unsure. I still have some time to decide, so thought I'd pick the brains of the forum.
Thanks
