I shop at that relatively new and nearby King Soopers with an excellent liquor department and a very first class beer selection of many tasty microbrews.

Heard from my business associates in Boulder that many more SUV's, especially 4Runners have been hit, most probably by this same guy and/or his accomplices.

Could Denver be next? I hope not! :AK47:

I've been following this since I live in Boulder. If I catch him stealing mine, the police won't have to worry about prosecuting him.

I've also seen national news saying that gas thieves are now punching a hole in SUV gas tanks and letting the gas drain into gas cans instead of siphoning.

Even if you don't go off-road, these are good reasons for skid plates.

Too the OP the heads up is cool, but cat converters get stolen everywhere, you should always be aware that it could be stolen.

as an aside, does anybody know if this is covered under insurance if you have full coverage?

Your insurance should cover, but minus your deductable, it may not be worth the black mark on your policy.
