Yes, you're very correct, sir. My point was that a lot of older people, like myself, don't mind loud sounding things.

im 21 and i personally wouldn't do that on my rig. i find it unnecessary. it does sound pretty rad, makes your ride a little more B.A. with the roar aspect, but its not for me.

i just think its a "to each his own" kinda thing. old, young, whatever... doesnt matter.

I've shied away from the loud aspects of cars as I got older. I'm 24 and I sold my subs because they weren't necessary and I have a baby. Don't want to shake the little goober up. In high school though I would bump the subs as loud as I could. Probably lost some hearing due to it. While the straight pipe sounds alright, it is too much for a daily driver. I'm going to go with the Flowmaster 24 or 18.

I ran one for testing right out the y header. Before I hooked the exhaust back on. We did an engine swap and was testing if everything worked.

Probably already know, but with no cat(s), you'd need an URD oxygen sensor simulator unless you can live with CELs.

Now I’m genuinely curious to see if anyone is doing this (and why) and what the results are.
