Strange Vibrations?

Hello all, it's me.

So my brothers 4runner has been having some issues lately, I figured it would be an easy fix. However after driving it and trying to track down the issue I have been left bewildered

Let me run down the issue.

First 10 minutes of driving is completely normal, no issues drives fine

After that 10 minutes a shimmy starts to develop, at speeds above 35MPH

After about 20 minutes its a pretty severe shake.

It is much worse when coasting. It is felt strongly in the steering wheel, and also the brake pedal when braking.

The vehicle is a 2wd, has the Tundra big brakes, other than that it is stock. Not a warped rotor, or stuck caliper from what I can tell. I thought maybe it could be the rear u-joint, however it seems just fine, and the fact that the vibe is felt mostly in the front end kind of rules that out.

Anyone have any ideas? I am pretty well versed with the 4runners myself and I am stumped!

Best regards,

Casey

You probably already checked but all the lugs are on and tight? Maybe check the ball joints for any play.
