I recently moved over from a 2012 Trail Team Fj. Of course with kids getting older, it was time to move on. We still love the outdoors and off roading so we wanted to keep the Yota trend so we traded for a 2015 Super White TRD PRO 4Runner.
I have a FJ build page that's pretty detailed. I'll make every attempt of doing this one the same way.

Hi, great job on the build so far. I was wondering if the Rocky road super sliders could also double as a step? I'm sure they probably don't work quite as well as a true step, but what do you think after having them on for a while? Thanks!

The Super Sliders aren't too bad. They step out just enough for me to jump up and in (I'm 5' 5").
Definitely not like the OEM running boards but more of a step than my OEM sliders on my Fj cruiser had. I'll see if I can find a pic that'll help.

Unfortunately, it'll be some time. We're planning a trip to Ouray at the end of August. All pennies are going towards that. But at least we'll finally see Ouray.
