Since way back my 2007 2WD SR5 has had a rocky idle on cold start. Shaking etc. It is not head gasket - all that checked out fine. I assume it is dirty throttle body, which has never been cleaned in its life. What is your experience?
Lately, it has begun to do that symptom on "warm start" as well. not hot, but warm: like when I jump out, come back 1 hour later and crank, the idle will be lumpy until i drive away. MPG and power seem fine to me, overall
Which brings 2nd question. What ARE the elements of a typical T4R Tuneup? I'm guessing replace the PCV, replace A/F if needed [i keep up with that], clean Mass Air Sensor, pull the throttle body and clean rigorously, change spark plugs. What else? Do I need to do Valves?
