Stupid rear seat rattle

Anyone have a permanent fix for the rear seat rattle? I've looked around but can only find the temporary ones I already use and have to redo regularly.

My rear seats go up and down 6-8 times a week and the electrical/duct tape fix wears out fairly quickly.

Rear seat rattle cause by loose catches on the rear seats. They rattle against the metal bracket attached to the body, it's rather annoying.

My rear seats started to rattle once I just broke out the ratchet and tightened all the nuts down and never had the problem again, you could also use some loctite on the nuts so they don't back off.

In my experience the rattle was at the seatback latches (black metal "U"), I wrapped the center section of the "U" with electrical tape for a more snug fit and haven't had an issue yet. A separate sound I noticed recently is when I drive with the rear retractable cover pulled over the cargo area, the plastic catches must be rattling around...

Try tightening the bolts that are keeping your seats fitted to the body.

I only rattle at idle sitting at stop lights. I loctite it and tighten it down, so far so good. I am the type of person that will tear a car apart looking for a rattle.
