Sweet Box

That is a great look. However, does it go down with the seat? I work for a Golf company and have to put a lot of stuff in the back and it require putting the seats down to carry a tent and 8 bags full of golf clubs.

Anyone tried anything under the bench seat?

The rear seats do not have enough room that I know of to fit anything under there besides maybe a tiny amp like arc or alpine pdx series etc... My amp won't fit under there at all, and my subs I have going in are almost 8 inches deep.

Still want someone to get to cutting their side panel and fiberglassing a custom box in, so I can see how it turns out before I decide to give it a try :D

I was planning on cutting the panel and removing the factory stub and enclosure. However, after getting the panel off I didn't feel it was worth cutting it because the factory box is not that big and it wasn't worth it for my application.

Actually you can pop off that cover for the sub, but it will more then likely damage the panel.

Instead I opted to leave it in place and just make a mold of the top of the panel which will be the back of my box. This works for me because my sub is not that deep.

I've made the mold and it's out of the truck but I need to put a few more layers of fiberglass to strengthen it before I fleece it.

It's taking a while because of the weather and I've been busy, but I'll post pics as soon as I'm done (whenever that will be).

the box doesnt go down with seat. the seats can still go down but the box is in the way to utilize the full trunk space. Fortunately i dont need to put much in the back but it does move and i can turn it if necessary.
