What kind of front & rear components are you looking to replace?
If it is just shocks and stuff, pretty much any shop ( Even Jeepers Den ) can handle it.
I used to wheel with the Jeepers Den guys a lifetime ago. Good guys, if I remember correctly.
I work on my own stuff for the most part, so I don't know of any 3rd gen. specific guys around. Let me know if you find someone.
Otherwise, a good trustworthy shop is Personalized Automotive Svc. near Colonial H.S.

I've got my Nissan there for an engine rebuild.
Dave is a personal friend and he will not rip you off, or anyone for that matter.

thanks for the info topdown4runner. Right now looking for shocks on all 4 corners. Just picked up a 2001 SR5 and rear is in desperate need of replacement. Not really looking for a lift or anything. My brother and I may tackle it. Time is in short supply though...2 little ones and twins on the way. Life is crazy to say the least.

Shocks are pretty easy, as long as no rust issues. Rear shocks top nut is a PITA to get to. Only a few inches of room at the top.
For the fronts, you'll need a spring compressor. You can rent them for "free" from Autozone.
The job can be done with hand tools, but is much easier with an air gun.
If you are looking to correct the rear sag, get some '99 tall coils. Do a search to see what I am talking about.
If you go to Jeepers Den, say HI to Ricky for me. ( I used to wheel a white j10 pickup and a gold Grand Wagoneer )
