Sun roof stuck

Hi all. I have sun-roof closing-stuck problem in my vehicle (2007 4runner SR5), and wanna to fix it by myself. If possible, please share with me some documents or video guides about removing and replacing the interior roof and the internal components of the sun roof.

My dad worked at a Ford dealership. The first car was always a company car, the second was also a Ford. The Maverick took a dump and my dad bought a used LTD with an aftermarket moon roof.

My sister got her license and the both of us went for a ride some where, and we opened the moon roof. Then we closed it.

Then it leaked. And my father asked did we open it, and we said yes, and he got mad. I never opened it again, can't speak for my sister.

And every f*****ng time that moon roof leaked, my dad would accuse us of opening that f*****ng thing. To this day I hate them.

Does it move at all? Mine was making some terrible noises and getting stuck in uneven positions on Tuesday. Try putting it in the tilt position, then press and hold the tilt button for about 20-30 seconds. Youll see/hear it bump. Then try to close/open it again.

Hello. Thanks for the replies. Only one side is trying to move the roller, another is just stuck.

Your dad worked at the dealership and didn't know about pulling the fuse to keep the moon roof from opening?! :wow2:
