Went to go look at a used 5th gen on Saturday. Test drove it, liked it and started the purchase.

Red flag here should have been that they couldn't find the car in inventory.

Anywho, I got to the point of actually signing for the deal (credits tan, options chosen etc) and was informed that it was sold out from underneath me.

When I was looking a few years ago, they told me they had one allocated and it was "on the boat" but is due in a few weeks. Took the vin number and had another dealer look it up and it wasnt true. When calling around they weren't the last ones to pull that. Talk to the GM but doubt they will do much since they prob do that a lot.
