You have the most annoying bandwagon fans ever with a scumbag coach in Carrol.

I think that can be a bit unfair. Yes, there are the bandwagon fans. Like I said earlier, there always will be when a team is winning. However, this team only started getting national attention with their recent success (starting with the Mike Holmgren-led teams). But this city has always had a big core of die hard Hawks fans. My parents had season tickets since day 1 and they would take me to one game every year and the Kingdome would always have a good showing of fans.

Tangent, but I see you're from CO, so I assume you're a Broncos fan. I miss the old AFC West days when they were a main rival of the Seahawks. Do you think Manning is coming back?

Its not that new fans are bad, its the new uber fans. We all know the them. No matter... I think the pats have a more interesting game and was never a seattle fan. The championship hasn't changed that more me. Seahawks are a good team and theyve earned thier spot and shot at it again.

Wow... U have the best running back in the game today. 1st and goal. First play Lynch almost punches it in. Three more tries for Beast Mode and u... Pass!!!??? Worst call of all time! Good going Carroll. Unbelievable.

Definitely a rough way to end the game for any Hawk fan, but what a game! Can't ask for much more in a Super Bowl. As much highs and lows as you could possibly have. Hats off to the Patriots. Stepped up the biggest when it mattered the most.

Well in my mind the lesser of two evils won but that's pretty hard to say. I was hoping they'd both lose.

If you look at the total 53 on each roster, here are facts:

1) Seattle is younger.
2) Seattle is more athletic.
3) Seattle has more Super Bowl experience.

They are fastest defense in the NFL and you cannot simulate that.

Here's to a great game with no significant injuries to either team!

the facts? sorry, new england's avg roster age was younger, and is in fact the youngest to ever win the super bowl. more athletic? more like a push - both teams are athletic. taking nothing away from seattle, damn good team, but to claim that new england isn't athletic is absurd.

I'd agree with you 100%. I think this was one of the most equally matched Super Bowls in a long time.

What I think is the unfortunate thing (and this isn't just PNW media bias because I'm seeing it on all of the national stuff too) is that most of the talk is either on Tom Brady or the why's of the last play call. To me, that was one of the greatest individual plays in Super Bowl history by Malcom Butler. I absolutely HATE that he did it, but boy do I give him some serious props for making it.

it was an "edge of your seat" game, no doubt. one of the better superbowls for sure. right up there with the 2007 and 2012 games (giants beat the patriots both times). i liked this result better, but those earlier games were exciting. i haven't forgotten steelers vs cardinals, as that was also exciting to the end. the truth is, over the last 15 or so years, most of the superbowls have been pretty good, and mostly competitive (other than denver last year), which was different than most of the bowls in the 90s (most of those were one-sided).

the butler interception was spectacular. it was a very difficult play, and he caught the ball cleanly, no bobble at all. seattle probably wins if he only knocks the ball down incomplete. oh well.

Congrats to Pats. Yes, the pass was a bad call but Butler made an incredible play as well. Credit where credit is due. Most of us are still stunned.:faint2:
