supra mass air flow sensor mod. need help anyone done it?

Hi I been trying to get this mass air flow sensor to work on my 2002 if I just plug it in straight and try to run it it won't even idle. I messed with the wiring and switched just the red and black wires on the mass air connection and it starts and idles fine air fuel ration is perfect but as soon as I press throttle it leans out pegging the a/f gauge at 16.0 just the slightest throttle leans it out. I found this write up on it but its for a 1996 4runner with the older style mass air flow sensor. I was wondering if anyone knows how to get it to work with the newer style mass airflow sensors? Im thinking I just have to get the right wire combination.

When we turn motorcycles we turn for a 14 to 14.5 on pump gas and if it is a race bike we will tune it to 12 to 12.5 on leaded fuel when you say idles at 16 what does it do as you go thur the rpm range while driving.

While driving it stays pegged at 16 im to scared to get on it to see what it does im afraid that lean once it builds boost it will blow up.
