surf racks?

i am thinking of yakimas? anyone else put a cross bar on top their racks? my only concern is the vehicle might become too high for my garage.

does yakima make a rack for a 4th gen 4runner? i have one that i took off my 2000 4runner, and i loved the look of it.... id be interested to see it on the new models....do you have any pics of one installed? ive thought about trying to put my old one on the new truck but the roof racks are completely different

I went to the Yakima web site and had no difficulty configuring a rack for a 2003 model. I'd interpret that to mean yes, they do offer one.

Some foam piping wrapped around the stock factory crossbars and tie-down straps works really well for surfboards, and it's the lowest profile too.
