Thank You

Hello Jake,

I just have talked to icon and they seem like a good company and have heard from friends. When offroading/camping I will have a rtt, front and rear bumpers, and a roof rack. That would make up the majority of the weight. I plan on taking it offroad and getting out in the middle of nowhere to take photos and have fun!

Thanks
Sam

I run OME 906 rear springs and have hauled a half ton of wood pellets in the back a few times this year. The springs handle it no problem but it does bottom out on big dips of course.

I need to replace springs, struts,& shocks on my 97 SR5 4X4. It has 190,000 miles & I'm pretty sure that the ones on it are stock from 97.
I dont want to lift it. Nor do I need expensive off road performance components. I just want OEM spec stuff or maybe parts that are just a step above OEM.
I just want a good comfortable stable ride with the ability to haul passengers & luggage without too much squatting. And occasionally tow a small trailer with an ATV or riding mower.
I'm looking for recommendations on front & rear springs as well as shocks.
Does kyb make the east strut fir the 3rd gen 4 Runner? If so, does anyone know the part number? And rear shocks & springs to match?
Thanks in advance.

1- You completely thread-jacked this dude. Make your own thread to ask a question such as you have.
2- No; KYB does not make the east strut fir the 3rd gen 4 Runner. Buy OEM Toyota shocks front and rear, and buy new OEM coil springs front and rear while you're at it. You won't be disappointed, and the Tokico shocks are gonna be much better than KYB.

Sam Korman,
Since you asked- I run ToyTec Superflex rear coils on my rig. They are 3.75" lift coils without any additional weight over stock. I love them, but they may not be great for as much weight as you're planning for. With that much weight, you may want OME 2861 coils.
How much lift does the ICON Stage 3 provide? I'm gonna take a stab in the dark and guess 2.5-3" adjustable?

Yea I guess I did jump in on this guys thread. I didn't realize at the time. I'll do better next time.
Also I meant best not east in my kyb question. Autocorrect got me.
Thanks for the suggestions.
