SVT raptor vs Tundra rock warrior

Been looking at both trucks. Both are just badass imo. I really love Toyota from a quality and reliability standpoint. I have also had a 2006 F150 Crewmax FX4 loaded. It was a nice truck and I had no issues but it was also SLOW as malaises and typical ford interior with hard plastic surfaces etc. Now the Raptor on the hand is not the typical F150. Definitely looks badass and with 6.2 V8 411hp 434tq that no dog. To list the stats..

Those I would say are the main highlights of each along with all the standard features ets. My questions are...

A- Which would you choice if money was not an option. Just pure gotta have it
B- Which do you think is just a better truck (if that’s possible lol). Any by "better" I mean everyday use, everyday living.

I’m only going off what I see online but the Raptor looks like a totally bada**. Watching the videos on ford website and you tube search, especially with an exhaust on it, NICE!!!

Rock Warrior just seems a little plain in comparisons.

I have owned both.... Kind of. 2010 Lariat (but have driven the Raptor) and a 2008 Tundra. Get the Raptor! The Tundra is a great truck but the fit and finish and the sheer bad assedness of the Raptor wins hands down!

If I was basing it purely off of looks and stock specs I would get the raptor. How could anyone resist the call of 35s and fox shocks....

Rock warriors are nice, I have driven them, but it still feels like a tundra. I haven't driven a raptor, but I'm guessing it doesn't feel like an F-150.

Yeah my thoughts too. The Raptor just seems like a lot of R&D went into it and its made as a model specific truck. Not just a set of billsteins and wheel/tire combo. Its not that much $$ either. msrp 43k in change. Thats a lot truck.

Id get the Tundra and make it a Raptor killer! Awesome, your paying more $$ for the name "Raptor" but everything can be added aftermarket for a lot cheaper! Buy a stock Tundra, slap on a TRD S/C, LT kit, and 37's and it will smoke a Raptor... for less $$. Just my .02.

I'd go with the Raptor. If the border patrol chose it over any other truck, it's most likely the better of the bunch. With that being said, the Raptor is the only Ford product I would ever consider owning. "Found On Road Dead" FORD :lol:

I've had experience with both (not a rock warrior but a TSS) but I actually did drive a raptor for a week (6.2L quad cab). In my opinion I would take the raptor. There is absolutely nothing that I would change about it. Tons of power, suspension is great (lots of dirt roads and a couple jumps made me think that), sounds incredible, handling is out of this world for a truck. Also you cant beat the look of a raptor, the grill with the running lights is absolutely sexy.

In reading that article it seems pretty clear they are pushing the truck past its factory capable means. They said...

If you hit that same obstacle at an even faster speed, then you will yield the jounce bumper cup – that's the little piece of steel that holds the jounce bumper. If you hit that same obstacle at an even greater speed, then the next thing to go is the frame.

Haha this is funny. Hey man who knows right. Guess it’s all how you handle it. I tend to go easy on my cars / truck (truck not so much but still make it home in one piece) and enjoy them for what I need. Maybe some want to beat the ever living snot out there’s.
