Well, looks like I have my issue solved, just waiting on parts. One thing I noticed from my previous post and some of the browsing here.
We have some parts that will swap from other Toyota vehicles and others.
Makes me wander if we have a post or a sticky for a parts swap list. Tried looking but couldn’t find one. Saw we have tons of write up,which is good but no list of swap over parts that will work better in our trucks. Other car makes have one, junkyard power, usually had different parts that will bolt on to their vehicles ( heads, injectors meters, wheels, spindles, etc ). Obviously certain parts you wouldn’t want to use from JY, but others could use.
Just to give you an idea of what I’m talking about. I have seen, people mentioning that for HID projectors using them out of a Lexus.
Seen some people posting using FJ springs in their 4runner. Hell, another one I can think of is upgrade to efans on our trucks, but not sure if it is worth it for the off road crowd.
Just a thought, unless someone has done a list like this.
