Swaping a TRD supercharger from one 3.4 to another

I have a young 3.4L engine, 100K miles, that I'd like to put in my 3rd Gen 4Runner. However, my existing 3.4L in the 3rd gen has a TRD and I really want to keep that, and the low miles engine does not have it.

I've looked around but have not found anyone doing the swap.

I ASSUME that it should be pretty easy - thoughts?

Just swap it over as if you were installing a new SC out of the box on the low mileage engine. Remove the tensioner, belt, oil dipstick bracket, the spacer, extra boost gauge line, and swap it over to your new engine. Not sure if you have the 170* T-Stat and the IK22 plugs, and the modified gasket for the throttle body, but if so, swap them over as well. Buy a new manifold gasket (never use old gaskets).

Put the plenum on the old engine.

Should be an afternoon job.

No need to swap ECU?
