“T” fell off my grill leaving me with “OYOTA.” Need help finding a new one

I recently got a 2018 SR5 4x4 with the TOYOTA logo grill and my wife noticed the front T fell off. I contacted the parts department at the dealership and he said it should be covered but he was struggling to find the part number and wasn’t sure if they could get the T or would have to get all the letters.

Anyone have any ideas or knowledge about this?

The letters are not sold separately. The only way to get the letters is to order a completely new grille.

Like others said, you'll have to order either the entire set of letters or else a whole grill.

But why are you doing the work on finding this info? This is fully covered under warranty and you spent more than enough money on the car, if it were me I'd be making them figure it out. I understand that stuff happens and you can't expect every single vehicle to leave the assembly line flawless, but it's part of the dealer's job description to fix what issues arise after you buy the car, especially when you drop that much money on it.

Even if it were out of warranty, I would still consider it their responsibility to maintain their own advertising. If they didn't, I'd remove the rest myself.

That’s the first thing I do as well. If the dealership wants me to advertise for them, they will have to pay me a monthly stipend.

I know we all love our brand names, but in all honesty, if the dealer will fix it for free let them do it. We have all read stories of dealerships who take way worse, more obvious fails, yet refuse to cover then under warranty. I'm shocked they even care enough to look it up. Then again, on $35k vehicle the price of that single part is a drop in the bucket for Toyota.

If they don't cover it (for free), then there are many options for cheaper fixes as listed above.

SR5 4x4 w XP package. Apparently it’s availble in the south? TRD grill, wheels, blacked out everything, predator step bars
