I was wondering the same thing. I was trying to reply to a private message when I got a notice that the administrator had shut down the private messaging function.

Something is going on with the site, and we are actively investigating. Most likely something to do with the "sexy girl" hack. For now, we've disabled PMs to stop these attacks. Will let everyone know once we know more.

While you are at it, can you ban all of these clear scammers, that continue to make threads, then comment on each others threads with links? This is all clearly the same person and it's getting a little ridiculous on this site:

Long shot - site issues

Have there been other changes/issues with the site. I have had instances where I could not get to the site, and often times now, it seems slow. I know my connection is good, as the only site I have issues with, is t4r.org

For me, it doesn't slow down, it stops....for anywhere from half a minute to 10 minutes. I figure it's some kind of crummy budget servers being used, but why is it the only site that is so intermittent?
