Hey Ma' dudes....And dudets,
I'm looking for some input, concerns or general "go for it"
The 4runner is our family vehicle and is mainly driven by momma bear. I don't feel comfortable putting baby bean in the work vehicle, so when momma is at work, we are kinda stranded. It would be great to have another TOYOTA as a weekend warrior and general fun mobile for me and little man to be able to use.
My friend has a 99 taco extended cab with 250k on the dial. 5 speed, e locker, manual hubs, clutch disco button, manual windows nothing to fancy other than that. I know cvs will need to be done soon, he's got vice grips as the window crank driver side, squeaks from UCA bushing(no big D) I recently replaced the ac compressor, but might have a leak somewhere else, he's had wp and timing belt done not to long ago. Not sure about LBJs
I'm not scared of maintence and all that, but anything I should be leary of of specifically look at on this whip? Another member mentioned making sure it has a airbag on off switch for passenger if I'm gonna have car seat in with me. Any other advice would be great!
