So some thieves cut out my catalytic converter this week and messed up the piping:mmph:. I welded a temporary 2.5" section for now but the drone is just too annoying.
Has anyone used the stock tacoma muffler ( just the muffler ) on the 3rd gen 4runner?
My existing original muffler has a lot of rust so I want to replace it along with some piping. Original shipped from rockAuto is alot and I can get a tacoma takeoff reasonable priced.
I know I will need to make the piping and hanger mods to get the muffler on which I can handle but wanted to know if anyone has used just the muffler. I plan on adding a resonator in place where the cat was and the rear sensor will be handled with the resistor / cap install later.
