Tammy - The 5th Gen Build

Welcome to my build! I would like to start this off by saying that I have named my 4Runner Tammy. Why Tammy? I really don't know why, just seemed like it fit. But with that out of the way, I would like to share with everyone what I have done so far. Here is a list of everything that has been done to it:

The day when I bought it, nothing special. I was actually expecting on buying a Blizzard Pearl but ended up with this Magnetic Grey Metallic thing instead and I am not disappointed!

Soon after I had to get window tint.

Now with the CBI Ditch Light Brackets. I wasn't a huge fan of cutting the cowl and just leaving holes in it so I attempted to cover them up without it being noticeable.

First thing was just removing the cowl.

After that I figured to put on the brackets next and worry about the cutting later.

Removing the cowl helped out a lot with with the brackets and making sure the hood was on and straight again

Also gave me enough room to tighten the bolts with the hood closed

Now to the cutting. I cut everything to make sure it cleared but didn't like the holes, so I tried to fill the holes in with foam, then cover that with black liquid tape.

Now wiring up the pod lights I ordered from Black Oak LED

I started off by finding a power source in the fuse box underneath the dash. Found a spot that power turns on and off when the key is turned on

I ended up putting two 10 amp fuses in the fuse tap since it's powering both pods

Ran the wires of the pods underneath the cowl and ran them out the corner

Found the perfect size rubber grommet to cut slightly to feed the wires inside

I used the bolted from the gas pedal to hold the relay the lights came with and the ground wire

Next up is the Trail Edition rims. Drove out to Denver one weekend to pick these bad boys up! Thanks to [MENTION=129748]jdtaylor42[/MENTION] for giving me the idea to get a set and get them refinished!

Painted them black and the Toyota symbol the same color as I did my brakes

Got new black lug nuts to finish it off! I couldn't be more happy with the color I chose. Different lighting can really change the color of them and some angles they look almost gun metal and other angles they turn almost army tan. Really happy with them! Still can't decide if I like them with or without the center caps

And while Tammy was waiting on the new shoes, I decided to plasti-dip/bed lined the rear 4Runner, completely undercoat the entire belly of the beast, paint my calipers because they looked pretty ruff since the day I bought it and also installed the Gobi ladder

After the install of my pods, I took my time on ordering a switch and finally went with Air On Board just because of the OEM style and plus they also had a USB charging port that I liked a lot

Nothing really special, just blue led switch but love how easy it was to install

As for the USB port, I decided to put it in the AUX spot because I got a bluetooth device that uses the AUX so I figured why not hide all of the wires by throwing them behind the dash

Here's the bluetooth device that I just stuck to the top of the glovebox then drilled a hole in one of the plugs. Just fed the wires through and now has a really clean look not having to worry about all the wires

Really diggin the wheels man! I have my stock Trail wheels still and have to say after seeing yours painted bronze, I'm really tempted to sell my TRD Pro wheels and do that to my Trail ones... Did you do it yourself, and how much did it cost you?

I actually went down to my local powder coat shop and had them sandblasted and re powder coated. They charged me $240 for all 4 wheels which I thought was pretty good!
