havve an oppurtunity to get a complete leather interior, tan, from a wreck, and would replace the gray cloth in mine. Can get all inside panels,so switch them to tan as well, but dash would stay gray.....would that look to weird ? both out of a 2001.

my cloth is kind of worn, the leather is near perfect...or so the guy says
cloth can be warmer, but I like that I can just wipe leather off, and when you have grandkids and dogs, wipe down is nice.

Taking the dash out is Pita but doable and use duplicolor vinyl paint or buy one of those dash carpet covers in tan

I have the tan leather interior, and I like it. Switching the dash and all the panels is a hell of a job, so you may want to just switch the seats. You could possibly use leather dye to make them a different color.

When I had to change the heater core on the truck, the whole dash had to come off which was a pain in the a** BUT with time, it's really not that hard to remove and swap it out. I'm sure I used a forum here a couple of years ago about following instructions on removing the whole dash. It's just a couple of bolts.

I have the tan interior. Trust me, the extra work to convert it to the full tan interior is worth it.

This is what I used:
Heater core removal
