TRD PRO specific threads

seems to be a reoccurring theme lately. People do realize that the platform is the same as any right? A lift is a lift for all 5th gens it isnt model specific. The bolt patter on the wheels are all the same... basically your PRO is the same as my SR5 with prettier parts. Not butthurt at all. if I wanted a PRO I would have bought one.... just wondering why there are so many what lift for a PRO, what stereo for a PRO what exhaust for a PRO etc....

A lot of them bought the Pro because of the marketing. They probably never would have bought a 4Runner otherwise, and had never done any research on the platform. Most of them post a few times and disappear.
 
I agree, I just wanted to bust the myth that a few may have had.... didnt want them searching for something that doesn't exist

I care.... when I pull up the forum and every thread is what lift should I get for a Pro, what wheels should I get for a PRO, The PRO this the PRO that. All of these things are the same for every model and have been covered a million times. So 1. it is annoying and 2. I want to point out that it is indeed the same truck as all the others. I know you posted cause you are probably the one that gets the most azz hurt when someone talks down about the PRO. I get it... you paid over MSRP for pretty parts and feel the need to defend it but you don't have too. If you bought a PRO because you wanted it then great.... I bought and SR5 because all the other crap the TE and PRO offered I didn't want or need. and watch, no TE owner is gonna get bent out of shape for me saying that

Actually many should if they are looking for information that is now buried in these threads. For example, many of the questions in the big Pro thread have been answered elsewhere many times and those looking may miss it.

Another thing is many who don't own a Pro but who know an answer won't spend much time in those threads - I know I'm one of those.

Anyways, a big hats of to Toyota Marketing as many seem to think they bought something different.

All newbies, that's why. Don't take the time to read and understand what they bought.

I don't own a Pro... But I don't care if people post about 'em.

The forum is for everyone, and if a thread doesn't interest me, I don't read it.

See how easy that is?

I also have a life that doesn't allow me to spend untold hours reading here, and crying about same.
