To be fair, both the pro and the trail also have the aggressive Atrac, terrain select and rear lockers as well.

I think initially, most newb will be confuse when they first join. It's going to be natural for them to ask questions along with the same questions over and over. We already established this and have seen this happen over and over on this forum as well as other forums.
For me it was the opposite, I've always thought all the 4runner were the same. the trim only signified amenities and features like, leather seats, heated/cool seats, puddle lights, auto headlights etc. Then I discover that each trim had different suspensions, FT/PT 4wd, KDSS, etc. That's when i got confuse and mis-informed. Mostly likely because i was getting feedback and read reviews about suspensions performance and brake dive, etc from someone who upgraded from the an SR5 or Trail w/kdss. Or when i almost order sliders for a SR5 instead of the Limited because i thought they were the same.
It's going to happen and will continue to happen everyday as new owners join this forum. We have a choice to ignore the post, help them, steer them the right direction or be an ass about it. But then again, 5-10 pages of stupid response is not going to help anyone. lol. =)
I don't see this on the stickies but why not have a sticky for all newb/members to read and acknowledge before they can post. The sticky can include anything you og members want all the newb to know before they graduate. =) I believe I've seen this in another forum somewhere.

Awhile back I had made a suggestion about color coding (red seems logical)or going with Caps for it to stand out in the sticky threads & was swiftly relegated to the comments & suggestion so you see NOT HAPPENING !!!

I just try to post a link for the best thread already out there now, that way if the dup thread topic comes up in a search at least it will link to the actual answer. It's also faster then telling them to search and having multiple bent out of shape posts.
