Tech deck mount

They say these are made for the 05-14 model tacomas, anyone know if it would work on my 04 4runner? I'm not sure how similar the dashes are.

The center dashes are actually somewhat different.

looks like it's gonna block some of the buttons/radio. Mountek has something that mount to the CD slot or any gap in the dashboard. Check it out:

Yea I can't tell if the spot over the ac controls is the same side as on the tacomas even though the dashes are pretty different.

I worry about the weight in a mount like that, I need it to mount an iPad so it's kind of heavy
