I just got back from the great Smokey Mountains in TN. I have never seen so many 4Runners in my life! I believe over the 3 days we were there and in NC, we saw over 200 4Runners. It was crazy! I had a complete brain fart and didn't get even one pic of the 4Runner in the scenic park/mountains. Rookie...

4R's are pretty popular where I live as well. 2nd & 3rd gens are literally everywhere. I notice them(and all other T4R's) constantly now since I've had mine. Not a lot of 4th gens tho which is kinda nice. Lots of 5th gens too. People love them! [emoji1303]

I'm in Knoxville, TN (kind of a gateway city to the Smokies) and it seems like there are nothing but 4runners here. And I'm just talking about soccer moms and college kids (ugh, so many rich kids) with stock 4runners. I probably see 10+ any time I leave the house to drive 10 minutes to work or the store.

I just assumed it was a really popular SUV nationwide. Are they not this common in other parts of the country?

I see them every now and again here in Indiana. A handful a day. A mix of stock/modded with a little of everyone mixed in. But not like down there! That Nolichucky river is so beautiful! I want to go back and fish when I get a chance. Sad seeing all of the burnt down houses around the park.

Not many around here.

I might see a few a week, and they are usually 3rd/4th gens. I bought my 2016 and didn't see another 5th gen for months, and when I did it was a limited. Took about a year before I saw another TE or Pro, now I have seen 3 or 4 different ones and a few SR5s.

Area is around 50,000 people. Local Toyota dealer here doesn't even keep 4runners in stock. Order only or transfer from another dealer.

I was in the park (fishing/camping) last weekend with my 4th Gen.
Also, yea, the Noli is great river! I was a whitewater guide there a coupe years in college.

I am staying in Sweetwater, TN for some time and I only saw one other 4Runner. I have driven into Knoxville a few times and saw a few, but none outfitted. I hope to take a ride over to the Smokies myself, need to figure out a day trip plan of where to go and what to see.

I love going down there to vaca, but never paid attention to the 4runners. Are there any off-road/site type areas down there?

I'm sure there are plenty, but we went down there to hike.

I'm not sure how many were outfitted but just the sheer number of them was crazy. It looked like a 4Runner parade. Thank god we don't have anything silly like the Jeep wave...

I told my wife that next time we had to make time to kayak, fish and just generally sit in that river and enjoy it. I saw a few with chairs just drinking and soaking up the sunshine. I was envious!

I had one of the first 5th Gen's here in TN, and the only blue shoreline limited here for awhile, and just about the only modded one in TN for awhile.

I see way more 4th and 5th Gen's up here in Clarksville than anything. There's a lot of nice looking ones (3rd-5th gen) I saw on CG during my hunt in Knoxville, but they were about 1500-2k out of my price range (at least the 3rd Gen's were)

I never saw a blue shoreline limited so I guess we didn't cross paths! [emoji846] I saw everything except for first gens. Don't know if by luck or Tennesseeans didn't like them hehe.

It was a nice truck. Sometimes you get lose things to get better things.

I am staying in the East TN area for a few months at least, hope to see some of you all around.
