Got my BudBuilt front skid today, and it is a beauty! PC'ed gunmetal. I had planned on putting it on right away, but the waves are good today and tomorrow so maybe thurs!! I look forward to getting atleast one or two more pieces from Bud, hes super cool and easy to deal with!

The price is $249 as is, the powdercoat was an extra $30 which I got more for corrosion protection than anything.

its basically the FJ stuff shown on his homepage, infact the baggy with the little bit of hardware says 'FJ front' on it.
I dont think you would be dissappointed, the thing is BEEFY, weighs about 30lbs (according to fedex sticker). I doubt ill hit a rock with it, but maybe a stump or soo....

This is a replacement for the front piece only.
The surf crapped out earlier today than expected so I washed her and put the skid on, with a pic or two!
They arent the best pics, but it was getting kinda dark......

I KNOW the pics suck! ill get more when the sun comes out again. It is SO MUCH MORE SOLID than the stock tincan skid, probably 6-7x heavier also. :biggrin2: :bigok:
