I apologize for this somewhat off-topic question. But I've noticed some of the 2006+ Sport Edition 4Runners have paint matched grills and some have chrome, is there a reason for that?

Limiteds have paint matched grills, SR5s and SEs have chrome. I don't like chrome so I bought black grille for my SE.

03-05, the Sport Editions have paint matched grills
06-09, the Sport Editions have chrome.

All years, SR5 have chrome, and Limiteds have paint matched.

Thanks, I've wanted these wheels for a long time!

Front: 2014 Tacoma TRD complete coilover + Toytec 3/8" spacer.
Rear: 2014 Tacoma TRD rear (kept stock 2008 springs) + Daystar 1.5" spacer.
Tires, for now.... 265/70/17 Dunlop Grandtrek (2016 SR5 take-offs)

So apparently this is a regular thing happening. Not sure if Toyota is going to fix it. They replaced mine under warranty but be advised.

Do they come with a warranty? Or do you have to pay for a warranty?

Just running 265/70 KO2's, no spacers and the ToyTec/Bilstein 5100 kit on the bottom perch. The rear springs should be in tomorrow and I should have it leveled out.

Could you fit 285/70's? It might be different though because I have 4wd..

I'm very happy with the wider stance.. almost flush with the fenders

What size tires did you go with? Just bought these same wheels for my 2006 SE. Its fully stock and not planning on getting it lifted anytime soon.

Toytec boss lift with HD rears, and Total Chaos upper control arms. Wrapped some 285/70/17 KO2s on the gunmetal TRD wheels. I love how the titanium looks with the gunmetal.
