This thread has been a huge help to me in deciding what to get so I wanted to contribute. Called my local Toyota dealerships and one of the parts departments were able to get these wheels in gunmetal for $840 after tax. This seemed to be a around the same price they are currently going for on ebay, and I didn't have to deal with shipping. Bilstein 5100s and a leveling kit will be installed as well and I will post pics of the finished product.

Just had mine installed last week with some new Falken Wildpeak AT3s. Moved the front fender liners forward to eliminate the rubbing. Really happy with the way it looks. I installed KYB shock strut assembly on the front when I first got the T4R last year. I should have waited and went with 5100s. Live and learn.

After reading through this thread multiple times, I want to make sure my tires aren't going to rub.

I currently have the stock rims on my 2004 SR5 V8 AWD and LTX M/S 2's that are 265/65/17's. I also have FJ Cruiser Springs and Bilstein 5100's at their lowest setting, so if I replace them with 265/70/17 T/A KO2's it sounds like I may get a little bit of rubbing under full turn, correct?

Also, will slightly increasing the size impact my speedometer as well? I really don't think so but want to confirm before I drop some serious coin here

You may get a very small amount of rubbing at full lock in reverse. On mine, it rubbed on the thing circled in the picture below. I just loosened the bolts, shoved the thing as far forward as I could, and then tightened the bolts back up. No more rubbing.

My speedometer actually got more accurate (according to my GPS and phone) when I went with 265/70/17 tires. It's now dead nuts on up to about 70 mph and then reads 1-2 mph low from there up.

Bought this a few weeks ago, loved the TRD wheels so I had to pull the trigger. I know it's a bit "stationwagon" as it sits, but I did the wheels and the headunit over that last two weeks. Need to save for a bit!

I believe that was while I still had the Bilstein 5100's on there. I didn't measure, but I put the fronts on a higher setting and the rear have FJ springs. So I would estimate 2 1/2" front and 1" in the rear.

The red TRD logo is starting to fade and turn pink from being out in the sun.

I'll post a pic tomorrow.

Anybody have chipping or peeling on the Matte Black Wheels? What would be the best way to fix this? Or should I just turn it into a full size spare? Lol

Mine too. I just hit them with 303 Protectant every so often and they go back to red.

5100's with stock springs - front set to 1.75" and rear 1.5" spacer
Very slight rake forward which is perfect for loading the rear up with gear

That's what I did (even if it was hidden by the Thrasharoo for my trip):
