The Frat Runner Build Thread​

This thread is here to show the progress of my 2015 Trail Edition from the beginning. I have been looking around and have a general knowledge of what I want the 4Runner to end up like. I hope that you all enjoy the, slow but steady, build of my Runner. If you have any questions feel to post on this thread or send me a PM.

A little about myself:

I am a recent graduate from the University of Tennessee. GO VOLS! In the past I have been more of a fast cars type of guy. Started out in high school driving a Mitsubishi Eclipse and upon graduating switched to an Audi S4. I drove the Audi all through college and decided that I wanted to possibly get into an SUV. I saw a new 4Runner drive by and thought I was going to die, I had to have one. One of my buddies has always been into trucks, especially Toyota, and was pretty excited about my new interest. We talked about the possibility of it happening and all the parts and looks that would be cool and it made me want one more and more. Well, I broke down and sold the Audi and am now the proud new owner of a 2015 4Runner. I am excited about how much I love the 4Runner and can't wait to add lots of goodies to it.

These photos are from 2 days after I had purchased the 4Runner. I had already removed the running boards and added 20% tint all the way around.

I purchased some of the TRAIL badges through shapeway.com and plastidipped them before putting them in the back column area of the 4Runner.

I actually drove all the way to Hendersonville, NC to purchase the vehicle. Had to wait another month as well seeing as the first one that was coming over caught on fire on the cargo ship. Just my luck. FML.

I feel your pain man. Last year was the first winning season in conference play for Utah. Hard to suffer through the transition from G5 to P5. Truck looks great though!

Yeah, I have always lived in Knoxville, TN and absolutely love it. Has about anything you want and is close to the mountains and other fun cities.
