The Future Thread

We all have our differences, be it people, politics or religion. Most of us like new tech though and I would like to start a thread on products and materials that will be part of our future. One of the coolest and what I believe will impact almost every one of us in the near future is Graphene. If you don't know what it is then read on!

Boeing successfully tested the first Air to Air Laser KILL of a real target in 2010.

This next video talks about another system the Navy is working on as well. Funny thing --- the video starts out with some archive Navy footage (before switching to new footage) showing an Aegis Cruiser CG-54 .... that was the ship I served on 2002 - 2006!!!!

Ha, good thread.

A few times I've started writing posts -- never published -- with the introduction, "the future called and would like to comment". So much of what is discussed or argued about has the potential to become moot really fast.
