About 2 years ago I upgraded front and rear suspension with OME bits. On the front I added OME 90010 + 884 springs and JBA UCA's. The results was a 2.5" lift and a leveling of the rake, just what I wanted.
Fast forward to now and the rake has returned and the front height has dropped 2.25". I did add a SSO AL slimline front bumper and a Smittybilt 10K winch that weigh in at ~ 100 lbs however that only dropped the front 1/4". So I am assuming the other 2 inches is due to the springs settling in.
So,, I am going to swap out the springs and looking at the OME 885, 886, 887 and 888 options for the best option to maintain height over time.
If I go with the 887 coils I will get the same spring rate but an additional 10mm of height or the 888 I will get an additional 15mm
of height. However since I added ~100 lbs of weight to the front end would it make more sense to go with the 886 springs? Thoughts?
Coil specifications:
OME 884: 390mm in height 590 pound spring rate
OME 885: 395mm in height 590 pound spring rate
OME 886: 402mm in height 660 pound spring rate
OME 887: 400mm in height 590 pound spring rate
OME 888: 405 mm in height 590 pound spring rate
