Well, thanks alot. I didn't need to read that article and find Addicted Off-road 's website.

The color's nice. :D Oh, and all those fiddly bits and 37's and a-ish arms and and and....(no smiley can sum this one up).

That front end kit he has on is different to say the least. I like the vertical upper but the rest of the upper arm looks :repuke: Pick a design, boxed or tubed, not both!

The lower arm is different too because with a traditional long travel lower arm the kick out is reverse of how he did it to allow a longer c/o for more travel. It looks like he built a one off mid travel lower to allow stock length c/o but maximize uniball angles and ground clearance under the lower arms. Pretty interesting set up!

I've seen this rig in person several times, and it's definitely a work in progress.

As it sat the last time, it had large bump stop spacers front and rear to keep those 37's from eating the body (which, beyond trimming the front fenders and pinch weld area, had not been cut to clear the tires). The rig has a lot of down travel, though.

He was telling me that the front suspension is designed to allow the user to install the kit with even a factory coil/shock assembly, and then upgrade from there as $$ allows, thereby reducing the cost of admission for a long travel setup.

It's definitely a cool rig, and the neat part is that he's completely experimenting and trying new things. The front diff is from an FJ cruiser with the 8" ring gear, adding strength beyond the 7.5" ring gear found in the factory diff. With an ARB locker and the RCV axles he's running, that front end is pretty stout.

Those UCA look insane. His website/fabrication has a lot of weird stuff for 3rd gen. He should make it into a kit and sell it.

Does anyone know if those mid-travel lca's are available anywhere? And those half shafts? They look so much beefier than stock.
