Havent used Vroom, but I recently sold a car on Carvana.com will def use them again going forward. Gave me a really good quote ($3k more then carmax) and when the guy showed up with a tow truck to pick up the car, he handed me the check that was originally quoted, no questions asked. He also allowed me to take all the factory rubber floor mats/rear covers and anything else I wanted from the car. Entire process online took about 5mins, if you agree to the quote you can schedule a pick up or drop off. I believe I got an appoint within 48hours the pick up process took another 5-10 mins.

I think you could get more than that. I just saw one (2015 limited with 130K) for $36K, and a 2017 SR5 83K for $40K

Thanks for the info. Right now the carvana offer is 2k less than vroom, but carvana seems more legit. Also I like the idea of receiving the check when they take the vehicle, unlike vroom where they send the check a few days later.

Dealer tried selling me a used trd pro and a limited both were over msrp of a new one. One had 5,000 miles and the pro had 25,000. Crazy how impatient people are. I ordered a limited and I'll wait the month it takes to get here.

I was at the local dealer yesterday getting a part and the parts manager said they have almost zero new vehicles incoming for the next few months that aren't already sold. I had been looking at Tacoma's again and it seems every used one got about $8k added to their price since last year. Most are more than a new one, but you can't get a new one. My boss actually is in the process of selling his 2020 super duty back to the dealer he bought it from. For more than he paid for it. And it's got over 30k miles on it!
