How it Started out

Here are a few photos from when I got the 4Runner in May of 2013. It had 135,000 miles on it. It was low miles and it the V6 w/ the 5Speed so I had to have it.
<a href="http://s12.photobucket.com/user/mbusenbark11/media/935659_10151462131654261_1938667917_n_zpsxjg4wfn4.jpg.html" target="_blank"><img src="http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a202/mbusenbark11/935659_10151462131654261_1938667917_n_zpsxjg4wfn4.jpg" border="0" alt=" photo 935659_10151462131654261_1938667917_n_zpsxjg4wfn4.jpg"/></a>

Testing out the factory suspension in the front yard.

Less than 12 hours of having the 4Runner I installed the cheap RevTek Spacer lift.

Looks great man. You've done a great job with it so far. It was so cool seeing your posts on instagram of it and now you've got a build thread. Looking forward to your future mods

Thanks Boss! Hey quick question. I see you are running the ToyTec coilovers.. How do you like them? How high do you have them set at? And What are you running in the Rear?

No way I think I've seen your truck in Bellevue before!
Valet service at Lincoln Square/Westin?? (I work nearby!)
Anyway, I have the same color, same year, but Limited.

Thanks Boss! Most likely! Used to live just down the street from Lincoln SQ. My buddy works Valet at the Westin/Lincoln so he always has it parked up by the lambos and Ferraris haha.

Do you like the BFG's in the snow more than the duratracs?

Both are great tires! Just got the duratracs so I haven't really tested them out much and are snow season here in Washington state was pretty awful this year. As for the BFG A/T they are an awesome tire and I would recommend them to anybody! They also recently just came out with the BFG KO2's which are a super sick tire that I have been putting on my showroom trucks for the last few months. Check them out.

Haha that's hilarious, I always see Ferrari's and Lambo's on the weekend there.
I live just up the street in Kirkland!

Awesome rig...can you advise me on the brand name of the bugflector you have in this pic? I've been looking for this one but can't seem to find it for sale.

Thanks Alan

Its actually a Toyota factory bug deflector. Came with the Runner when I bought it.

I love my current set up. It rides stiff but i knew that going in and i dont have any complaints with it. Im pretty sure I have them cranked up the highest they can go. As for the rear im running boss shocks with OME 890 coils which I really like and I really like my current suspension setup and it was certainly worth the money.

Man...black on black would be my 1st choice. I have the silver limited flares on my green '02 and I really wish they matched like your's.
All that baby needs is a little more cowbell.

I saw somewhere else that you removed the chrome fender trim to paint it, obviously you put it back on. How did you take them off without breaking the clips/rivets/posts on the inside of the fender wells? I want to take mine off too, however if the paint under them is too scuffed/scratched to buff out i would want to put them back on. Everything I'm finding is just saying "break them off" because there is no way of removing them easily.

Thanks, your 4runner looks awesome by the way!

Good looking truck. As a former RevTek lift owner, the sooner you ditch that system ... the better. I recommend TRD/LC coils with some 5100's.
